Consolidated Server and TS Buttons

Recommended Posts

Hey Hatters,

Just a small suggestion concerning the "Servers" group on the website. I was wondering if the Join Teamspeak button could be added to each of the individual servers pages (i.e. Minecraft, Rust and TTT) in addition to just having it on the front page.

The suggestion comes from me generally checking the number of players available on TTT prior to joining TS. I know it's a small thing and quite literally would just take copy/pasting a graphic image from the index page to each of the server pages, so I figured it would be worth spending 5 minutes executing it to streamline the accessibility of each server page.

Thanks "fam"

Oh man, if coding a website and keeping all the custom styles from messing each other up was that easy.

But Dan, it is! You just copy, paste, cry until you can no longer feel anything, and then spend the next 38 hours trying to fix it.

Well, depending on how you've written the CSS and if you having the right style directed to the page (edit: meant "the element") you want to put it in , it's really not that hard, along with tweaking around the justification of the page elements. Considering I had to rewrite a website in CSS and basic HTML so another person would be able to understand it if they'd ever needed to edit the site in question, I know that it wouldn't take long at all if you had any semblance of good structure in your style sheets

If you want me to suggest something else for you, Dan, you could otherwise put an href to each server in the banner where the servers and the players are listed. Element code in spoiler from both the banner (or I guess header in your code) and an emaple href you used later in in the index page.

TTT href:

<a href="steam://connect/149.202.65.210:27050/" class="btn btn-labeled btn-success btn-xs">Click to connect!</a>

Something to the extent of this:

Spoiler

<a href="steam://connect/149.202.65.210:27050/"><img class="game-logo" src="http://resources.hatventurescommunity.co.uk/new/images/icon/ttt_small.png"></a>

<span title="">TTT: 0 / 16</span>

Also might consider fixing the justification error on the TTT image on the home screen. It's a few pixels right from the others.

Thanks

:)
